Role Overview
Our Pest Technicians play a crucial role in our operations, delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. This position is centered around the effective delivery of Terminix products.
A Typical Day in This Role
Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive industry training, our Pest Technicians engage with residential clients in the neighborhoods we serve, performing various exclusion services. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Setting up exclusion traps and constructing hardware to specifications.
- Safely removing trapped animals from exclusion devices.
- Utilizing safety harnesses when working at heights for exclusion services and wildlife removal.
- Engaging with customers to explain the services rendered.
- Completing documentation of services provided.
Qualifications for Success
- A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential.
- Three to six months of relevant exclusion experience or training, along with six months of experience using hand tools and related equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer interaction.
- Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
- Ability to present information effectively to customers in small groups or one-on-one.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for service-related calculations.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Due to safety regulations, Pest Technicians must be clean-shaven to ensure respirators fit properly.
