Position Overview
As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Electronic Life Safety Sales Specialist to become a vital part of our team.

In this dynamic and fulfilling position, you will be responsible for effectively representing the company in the promotion and sale of Fire Safety and Fire Alarm Systems to contractor clients and end users within designated territories and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Sales Specialist, you will:

  • Initiate contact with potential clients and assess their needs by scheduling sales meetings, following up on leads, and leveraging Johnson Controls marketing initiatives.
  • Formulate a sales strategy to enhance customer awareness of our product offerings, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate territory records.
  • Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate and qualify leads for prospective clients.
  • Prepare financial justifications, develop proposals, deliver presentations, and ensure effective follow-up to secure sales.
  • Collaborate efficiently with district operations to enhance service delivery.
  • Achieve sales targets as assigned.
  • Maintain existing accounts through regular communication and follow-up on sales activities.
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress reports and metrics to operational and corporate teams.
  • Engage in trade shows, product demonstrations, and other events aimed at increasing sales and enhancing the company's reputation.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Strong motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • High level of self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to quickly identify and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Proven ability to persuade and close sales effectively.
  • Capability to obtain necessary licenses as mandated by national, state, and local regulations.
  • A minimum of two years of successful sales experience in Electronic Systems or a related field.
Preferred:
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience collaborating with electrical contractors and proficiency in reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, particularly Microsoft and Oracle programs.
