Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at FPI Management. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our residential communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the highest level of service and quality workmanship.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to prevent and address maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate and complete maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and maintain a inventory of parts and supplies to ensure that maintenance personnel have the necessary tools and materials to perform their duties.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Director.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
  • Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT), preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction.
  • Ability to provide and maintain own tools.
  • Additional skills in areas such as appliance repair, boiler systems, drywall installation/repair, electrical repair, HVAC maintenance, landscape/grounds, painting (int & ext), plumbing repair, pool maintenance, rehab/renovation, and work order/ticketing systems.
