SAP Systems Analyst

Company Overview:
GlobalSource IT specializes in SAP recruitment, offering both contract staffing solutions and permanent placement services. We are currently assisting a client in the food production sector who is transitioning to a SAP Rise upgrade and is in need of a dedicated SAP Systems Analyst.
Position Summary:
The Senior SAP Systems Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, programming, and support of SAP S4HANA business systems across various functional domains. The goal is to enhance business processes throughout the organization. This role includes managing medium-sized projects, resource allocation, and the design, implementation, and support of systems that optimize computing resources in alignment with business objectives and budgetary constraints. Additionally, the analyst will develop, implement, and maintain Enterprise Reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to business units utilizing applications in Contracts & Pricing, Order Management, Distribution, Production, Quality, Inventory, Transportation, Finance & Costing, as well as Purchasing and Plant Maintenance.
- Engage in technical writing and develop programming specifications, ensuring input from other Business Systems team members and users is considered. This includes maintaining system, application, and user documentation.
- Deliver ongoing technical support to both internal and external customers, striving for near 100% uptime and zero error incidence in a dynamic, 24/7 business environment.
- Complete essential functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, deadlines, and budget parameters.
- Monitor, support, design, and develop solutions within the SAP S4 system.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring systems, responding promptly to data integrity alerts and reports.
- Generate accurate and timely reporting (both static and ad-hoc) and provide dynamic data analysis and delivery solutions tailored to the diverse needs of various functional areas and business units.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in configuring and programming within SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with a preference for candidates with SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and report writing platforms.
- Experience utilizing third-party tools/systems in conjunction with SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge or experience in the sugar or agricultural industries is advantageous.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience focusing on business applications and batch processing is required.
