Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Developer to engage in various stages of the software development lifecycle. This role encompasses gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding, and testing using standard SAP tools such as ABAP, OData, and Fiori. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a solid understanding of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality code and documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Analysts to test SAP software effectively.
  • Contribute to the Development team by prioritizing and executing key projects and tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis as necessary.
  • Translate functional specifications into technical details and engage in RICEF development.
  • Plan and execute the refactoring of classic ABAP to Object-Oriented programming.
  • Participate in team activities and agile planning to enhance team skills and work quality.
  • Provide support for users in core SAP modules.
  • Stay updated on SAP functionalities and new development skills relevant to our environment.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for SAP coding.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years in SAP development, including coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Experience in various SAP ECC functional areas and their interactions.
  • Proficiency in ABAP and Object-Oriented programming.
  • Experience with ALV reports, Smartforms, and Adobe forms.
  • Knowledge of enhancing standard SAP functionalities.
  • Experience interfacing SAP with other systems.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Familiarity with HANA development is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze and explain the impacts of ECC configuration options.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and agile project management tools.
