Role Overview: The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for providing technical expertise and support for SAP ERP and SAP Netweaver systems, along with various third-party software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive support for SAP enterprise systems, ensuring effective administration, availability, and reporting. Collaborate with functional areas, process analysts, technical developers, and end-users to provide necessary technical assistance.
  • Manage the installation, upgrades, and patch applications for SAP environments and third-party components, including database management. Create and configure SAP instances and clients, execute system copies/refreshes, and monitor overall system performance.
  • Document any new or modified technical procedures and assist project teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Oversee problem tickets, enhancement requests, and other assigned tasks, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Facilitate the migration of changes across environments following established processes.
  • Maintain system availability in line with agreed service levels. Design and implement engineering solutions that are well-documented and communicated effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • 3 years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications and databases.
  • 3 years of experience with Windows Server OS, SQL Server, HANA database, as well as ABAP and scripting languages.
  • 3 years of knowledge in server hardware, networking, and IT service delivery change management processes.
  • 3 years of understanding the technical aspects of various SAP applications and Netweaver components, including ERP and Solution Manager, and their integration with third-party products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Experience managing projects and issues of medium to high complexity.
  • Ability to perform professional-level work, developing solutions that require thorough analysis and research.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment while delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution, with strong organizational and time management skills.
