Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled SAP Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging in the complete software development lifecycle, which includes gathering requirements, analysis, design, and coding using standard SAP tools such as ABAP, OData, and Rest, as well as Fiori, BTP, and S/4 Hana. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as this position encompasses both project-based development and ongoing support for existing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the SAP Developer include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating high-quality code and associated documentation in line with Jack Link's development standards.
  • Collaborating with Product Owners, Analysts, and Platform Owners to test SAP software effectively.
  • Participating in the Development team to prioritize and deliver key projects and tasks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis as necessary.
  • Translating functional specifications into technical details and engaging in RICEF development within SAP.
  • Planning and executing the refactoring of classic ABAP to Object-Oriented programming.
  • Engaging in team activities and agile planning to enhance team skills and work quality.
  • Providing support to users in core modules such as FI, MM/WM, SD, and others.
  • Staying updated on SAP functionalities available in current and future releases, including S/4 and BTP.
  • Recommending and implementing best practices for SAP coding within ECC tools and processes.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging various SAP development tools and platforms, including:

  • Expertise in SAP ECC functional areas and their interactions.
  • Proficiency in ABAP and Object-Oriented programming.
  • Experience with classical, interactive, and advanced Object-Oriented programming, data dictionary, and BAPI's.
  • Familiarity with creating and modifying ALV reports, Smartforms, and Adobe forms.
  • Experience enhancing standard SAP through BADI's and user exits.
  • Ability to interface SAP with other systems using RFC, ALE/EDI, and IDOC file transfers.
  • Skills in debugging, performance tuning, and transport reviews.
  • Understanding of HANA development and exposure to HANA S4 is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP Hana and Hana Modeling, as well as PI/PO development.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Ability to articulate the impacts of various ECC configuration options on business processes, alongside excellent communication skills. The candidate should demonstrate effective leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to collaboration with Product Owners and fellow developers.
