Position Summary:

We are looking for a SAP Developer who will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle. This includes gathering requirements, analyzing needs, designing solutions, and coding using standard SAP tools such as ABAP, OData, and Rest, as well as Fiori, BTP, and S/4 Hana. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality code and maintain documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Analysts to test SAP software effectively.
  • Contribute to the Development team by prioritizing and executing projects and tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, conducting root cause analysis as necessary.
  • Translate functional specifications into technical details, with experience in RICEF development.
  • Plan and execute the refactoring of classic ABAP to Object-Oriented programming.
  • Engage in team activities and agile planning to enhance team skills and work quality.
  • Provide support for users in core SAP modules including FI, MM/WM, SD, and others.
  • Stay updated on SAP functionalities and development skills relevant to current and future releases.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for SAP coding and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP development tools and platforms.
  • Proficient in various SAP ECC functional areas and their interactions.
  • Extensive experience in coding, testing, and debugging ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with ALV reports, Smartforms, and Adobe forms.
  • Knowledge of enhancing standard SAP using BADI's and user exits.
  • Experience interfacing SAP with other systems using RFC, ALE/EDI, and IDOC.
  • Familiarity with debugging, performance tuning, and transport reviews.
  • Understanding of HANA development and exposure to HANA S4 is a plus.
  • Strong consulting skills and ability to work effectively in team settings.
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Understanding of SAP ECC functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP HANA and modeling.
  • Experience in PI/PO development.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to understand and communicate the impacts of ECC configuration options.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and motivational skills.
  • Proactive approach to collaboration with Product Owners and developers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet navigation.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and agile management practices.
