Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Developer to engage in various stages of the software development lifecycle. This role encompasses requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, and testing using standard SAP tools such as ABAP, OData, Rest, Fiori, BTP, and S/4 Hana. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and possess a solid understanding of business processes, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality code and documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and Platform Owners to test SAP software.
  • Contribute to the Development team by prioritizing and delivering on projects and tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis as needed.
  • Translate functional specifications into technical details and engage in RICEF development.
  • Plan and execute the refactoring of classic ABAP to Object-Oriented programming.
  • Participate in team activities and agile planning to enhance team skills and work quality.
  • Support users in core SAP modules including FI, MM/WM, SD, and others.
  • Stay updated on SAP functionalities in current and future releases, and evaluate new development skills.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for SAP coding and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in SAP development tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in various SAP ECC functional areas and their interactions.
  • Experience in coding, testing, and debugging ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Familiarity with classical and advanced programming techniques, data dictionary, and BAPI's.
  • Experience in creating and modifying ALV reports, Smartforms, and Adobe forms.
  • Ability to enhance standard SAP functionalities using BADI's and user exits.
  • Experience in interfacing SAP with other systems using RFC, ALE/EDI, and IDOC.
  • Knowledge of debugging, performance tuning, and transport reviews.
  • Understanding of HANA development and exposure to HANA S4 is a plus.
  • Strong consulting skills and ability to work effectively in team settings.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with all aspects of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of SAP ECC functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP HANA and HANA Modeling.
  • Experience in PI/PO development.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to comprehend and explain the impacts of various ECC configurations on business processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership and motivational skills.
