We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to spearhead strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with our Sales division.
This position is part of the Sales Systems & Process team within Revenue Operations, engaging with various teams and individuals who support our Sales organization.
The Principal Business Systems Analyst will serve as a senior-level contributor, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex, business-critical projects throughout the Sales cycle.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in business processes, systems management, and analytical capabilities that are essential for assisting the Sales team in scaling operations globally.
Successful candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements for a successful Sales team and the ability to collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts and technical teams to drive transformation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Leadership, Sales Technology, Sales Strategy, Marketing Operations, and Data Science.
- Work alongside internal technology teams to support and implement capabilities necessary for enhancing and optimizing sales processes.
- Identify areas for system and process enhancements, focusing on both immediate improvements and long-term foundational changes.
- Partner with Sales Strategy and Business Operations teams to execute critical projects that influence customer-facing go-to-market teams.
- Address complex business challenges with both technical and non-technical solutions.
- Manage requirements documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, and other assets that capture business needs.
- Oversee systems administration for sales tools and systems.
- Engage in user acceptance testing, smoke testing, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with the Enablement team to develop training on system and process changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations.
- Experience in a high-growth, enterprise software environment.
- Familiarity with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to cash collection, including post-sales enablement, expansion, and renewal processes.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions system and process integration projects.
- Proficiency with common go-to-market tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, DocuSign, PandaDoc, and others.
- Experience in sourcing new tools for business operations.
- Understanding of various software subscription models and cloud-based sales frameworks.
- Deep expertise with Salesforce, with Salesforce Admin certification preferred.
- Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Analytical skills to assess key decisions and their short- and long-term implications.
- A history of delivering transformative projects that have enhanced operational efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits:
At Atlassian, we are committed to creating equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline pay range is designed to exceed typical market standards, reflecting our expectation to hire candidates near this baseline.
Base pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We have established geographic pay zones to ensure fairness.
Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are as follows:
- Zone A: $172,900 - $230,500
- Zone B: $155,600 - $207,400
- Zone C: $143,500 - $191,300
This role may also qualify for additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
