The YMCA of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Grant Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a critical role in supporting grant management, financial tracking, invoicing, reconciliation, and auditing for local, state, and federal grant contracts totaling over $50 million annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support grant management, including financial tracking, invoicing, reconciliation, and auditing
  • Work closely with the District Administrative Director to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with grantors and stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support for grant-related activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with grant requirements
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a grant-related field
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a friendly, collaborative work style
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin
  • Expertise in ADP, Traction on Demand, NetSuite
