Job Summary

Salsbery Brothers Landscaping is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Build Foreman to lead and execute various landscape construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate all aspects of landscape construction, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians and laborers, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, project managers, and landscape designers to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans for implementation.
  • Task Organization: Organize and schedule daily tasks, allocating resources and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Landscape Construction: Oversee all aspects of landscape construction, including grading, excavation, hardscaping, planting, irrigation installation, and lighting.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition and safely utilized.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.
  • Project Budgeting: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to project managers, ensuring projects are completed within allocated budgets.
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies in the field of landscape construction.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape construction preferred, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects of varying complexity.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Equipment Operation: Proficient in operating and maintaining landscape equipment and machinery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
