Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our multifamily projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor site personnel, including assistant managers and laborers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, preparing weekly forecasts to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Understand and implement project strategies, including financial goals and logistical planning.
  • Ensure that all operations meet design specifications and are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Facilitate open communication with the project team regarding any changes or challenges that arise.
  • Collaborate with project management to keep project schedules updated and reflective of current status.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams and subcontractors to discuss progress and address any issues.
  • Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process, providing solutions to site-related challenges.
  • Exceed client expectations by understanding their needs and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Promote positive relationships with subcontractors, ensuring fair and professional interactions.
  • Manage the punch list process to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Oversee project closeout and warranty processes in collaboration with project management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory construction role.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $3-30 million, with a focus on multifamily developments.
  • Proven background in ground-up commercial or industrial construction.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
