Our expertise encompasses non-destructive testing, pavement analysis, geotechnical engineering, and forensic investigations. This role presents diverse responsibilities and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections at facilities producing asphalt and concrete.
  • Execute laboratory assessments on various materials including asphalt, soils, and concrete.
  • Conduct field evaluations, gather samples, and execute tests during road construction projects.
  • Utilize density gauges for assessing soil and asphalt pavement.
  • Prepare field samples of concrete, masonry, grout, etc., for strength testing.
  • Transport material samples and equipment to laboratories and technicians.
  • Document observations meticulously and relay findings to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and prepare essential documentation for reporting.
  • Adhere to the Project Manager's directives regarding documentation and communication of results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in an entry-level capacity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites with little notice.
  • Ability to interpret maps, project specifications, and instructions.
  • Capacity to work under varying weather conditions and on construction sites.
  • Able to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate degree.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as NJSAT HMA Construction Technologist and Asphalt Technologist.
  • Preferred: ACI Field Technician, Laboratory Technician, and Construction Inspector certifications.
  • Preferred: NICET Level I certification or higher.
