Training Requirements

All Medical Professional Officers must complete a comprehensive military orientation and training program lasting 26 days. This training is conducted by experienced Medical Professional Officers.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

  • Meet the medical and moral standards for appointment as a commissioned Officer.
  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Have completed an accredited degree program.
  • Be at least 21 years old, with some exceptions for Advanced Practice Medical Professionals.
  • Be eligible for a secret security clearance.
