About the Role

Premier Orthopaedics, a leading provider of orthopaedic services, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and staff in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Clinical Assistant to Physicians: Handle clinically oriented patient tasks, including performing x-rays as ordered by physicians.
  • Room Patients and Assist Physicians: Assist physicians during office hours, handle patient calls and questions, and take accurate messages and relay to physicians when necessary.
  • Maintain Physician Calendars and Schedules: Communicate schedule changes to others and handle pre-authorizations for imaging studies.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Maintain composure and patience in difficult situations, provide accurate information, and ask questions when unsure.
Requirements
  • X-Ray License and ARRT Certification: Required for this role.
  • High School Diploma/GED: Minimum educational requirement.
  • 3+ Years' Experience in a Medical Office Setting: Preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Work Ethic and Excellent Attendance: Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to Multi-Task and Prioritize: Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Computerized Appointment Scheduling and EMR/EHR Experience: Preferred, but not required.
