About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Senior Principal Engineer in Water Resources Management to join our team at Cannon Corp. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex water resources projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple water resources projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution systems, and storm drainage collection systems.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, reports, and other technical documents as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in water resources projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in water resources projects.
  • California P.E. license.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs used in civil engineering design, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Hydrology and Hydraulic.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
