Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitates regular communication to plant employees from Corporate HR and Payroll Departments throughout the year.
  2. Ensures confidential written communications are provided to employees.
  3. Submits employee file documents to Corporate HR and Payroll promptly.
  4. Reviews employee paperwork for completeness before submission to Corporate HR.
  5. Maintains the plant bulletin board, ensuring required postings are current.
  6. Assists employees with medical insurance inquiries.
  7. Provides payroll support as needed.
  8. Offers assistance to plant management as required.
  9. Facilitates company communications via various channels.
  10. Participates in rotation to other team roles as necessary.
  11. Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  12. Prepares monthly Plant Credit Card DEEM reports.
  13. Manages petty cash on site.
  14. Leads the onsite Mentor Program.
  15. Maintains driver logs, DVIR, and driver files.
  16. Tracks fuel charges and receipts, preparing quarterly reports for accounting.
  17. Coordinates corporate volunteer events.
  18. Oversees the WIT program and team recognition initiatives.
  19. Organizes monthly plant meetings.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, though there may be potential for direct reports in the future.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While executing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to talk and listen. This position is primarily sedentary, involving extensive typing and sitting.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, with an expected work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekend and overnight work may also be required.

Travel Requirements

Local travel may be necessary for this position.

Education and Experience Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in office management, reception, or front desk roles.
  3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a position requiring strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying requirements.
Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
