Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates regular communication between plant employees and Corporate HR and Payroll Departments throughout the year.
  • Ensures confidential written communications are provided to employees.
  • Submits employee file documents to Corporate HR and Payroll in a timely manner.
  • Reviews employee documentation for completeness before submission to Corporate HR.
  • Maintains the plant bulletin board, ensuring all required postings are current.
  • Assists employees with medical insurance inquiries.
  • Provides payroll support as necessary.
  • Offers assistance to plant management as required.
  • Facilitates company communications via various channels.
  • Participates in team rotations as needed.
  • Ensures proper housekeeping practices are maintained.
  • Prepares monthly Plant Credit Card DEEM reports.
  • Manages petty cash on site.
  • Leads the onsite Mentor Program.
  • Maintains driver logs, DVIR, and driver files.
  • Oversees fuel charges, receipts, and quarterly accounting reports.
  • Coordinates corporate volunteer events.
  • Manages the WIT program and team recognition initiatives.
  • Organizes monthly plant meetings.

  • Handles physically and mentally demanding situations with composure.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, though potential direct reports may arise.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and listen. This role is primarily sedentary, involving significant typing and sitting.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, with an expected work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekend and overnight work may be required.

Travel Requirements:

Local travel is anticipated for this position.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in office management, receptionist, or front desk roles.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a position requiring strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying requirements.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
