Location: Largo, FL - 2nd Shift

Overview:

The role of Service Technician is pivotal in our commitment to preserving and enhancing lives. As part of a collaborative team, you will engage in the servicing line, executing repairs and conducting electrical and mechanical assessments on medical devices. Adhering to stringent quality standards, you will meticulously document your findings in our records system. You may also support various segments of the value stream, including preparation for shipment, repairs, or testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety protocols, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to workplace safety, striving for zero incidents.
  • Follow established Quality Management Systems and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow on the service line, working both independently and collaboratively to meet yield targets.
  • Utilize sound judgment based on established procedures and device readings to navigate the service or testing processes, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Rotate through various roles, including assembly, repair, packaging, spare parts, and testing operations as required.
  • Provide training to colleagues as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include:
    • Using various hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble medical devices.
    • Employing machinery and testing aids to conduct tests, measure devices, and analyze data to ensure compliance with specifications.
    • Conducting scheduled calibrations of testing stations and equipment to verify functionality.
    • Assembling packaging materials and preparing medical devices for shipment.
    • Transporting pallets of finished goods for outgoing deliveries.
