Position Overview

The role of the Technical Customer Service Representative involves assisting clients and merchants with technical support inquiries related to point of service (POS) systems. This includes addressing issues with card processing terminals and providing consistent solutions by leveraging established documentation and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve technical support challenges for clients and merchants, ensuring adherence to quality and productivity standards.
  • Document customer interactions and data accurately in the appropriate databases.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of POS products, customer service practices, and compliance regulations through continuous training and reference to online resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic computer proficiency and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of the payments industry and ability to conduct basic research to resolve customer inquiries.

Work Environment:

This position typically involves routine to semi-routine tasks, requiring guidance on most assignments while allowing for occasional independent decision-making.
