Role Overview:

This role is part of our Solution Engineering team, where you'll collaborate with customers, products teams, and professional services to develop thoughtful solutions that help customers achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to demonstrate technical and sales skills, including soliciting business requirements, developing technical sales strategies, configuring and demonstrating solutions, and providing business value.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll play a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies with technology solutions within complex accounts, partnering with clients and internal team members to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions.
  • As a Technical Sales Solutions Consultant, you'll work on a wide array of assignments, including business development, operations, and IT strategies, as well as executive-level product demonstrations.
  • You'll take ambiguous and sophisticated business problems and define them, driving innovative ideas and recommending practical next steps.
  • You'll bring focus to a client's decision-making process by communicating and evaluating solution options and driving consensus among key collaborators.
  • You'll demonstrate through software demos and rapid prototyping how connected experiences come to life with our solutions, delivering executive-level software demonstrations and constructing future-state customer journey strategies.
  • You'll assist customers, account executives, and professional services teams with discovery, analysis, and recommendation of strategic solutions, delivering transformational pitches based on live product demonstrations.
  • You'll discover customer business needs and position the best Salesforce solution to achieve those objectives.
  • You'll build and present customized solutions and demonstrations focused on Salesforce products, showing how they can accelerate business strategies and create value.
  • You'll convey a deep understanding of the customer's architecture as it pertains to our solutions.
  • You'll orchestrate and lead cross-functional solutions guides, aligning them to the opportunity strategy.
  • You'll participate in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain knowledge vital to success in this role.

Salary Range: $165,060 - $220,850 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications.
  • Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology.
