Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer specializing in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team at InterSources Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in component and integration automation, steering clear of traditional UI regression automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage a minimum of 8 years of experience in test automation utilizing Selenium and web services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core Java, essential for effective testing.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of test automation principles and estimation techniques.
  • Design and develop robust automation frameworks for both UI and services, employing Java, Typescript, and an open-source technology stack.
  • Apply a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Engage in hands-on technology tasks, troubleshooting critical design or code issues.
  • Utilize tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, Cypress, TestNG, Serenity, Gradle, and Jenkins (CI/CD) effectively.
  • Conduct component and integration automation testing specifically for microservices.
  • Perform code reviews and assess architecture and design against business and technology objectives.
  • Utilize SonarQube for code coverage and quality assessments.
  • Work with test automation frameworks, creating and modifying as necessary.
  • Possess over 3 years of professional experience with Java, demonstrating the ability to read, write, and modify core Java projects.
  • Have 3+ years of experience using Selenium for test automation, with extensive knowledge of Selenium architecture and components.
  • Automate both web and Windows client applications with 3+ years of experience.
  • Utilize the TestNG and BDD framework (JBehave/Cucumber) for test automation for over 3 years.
  • Perform web service automation with 2+ years of experience, particularly with Rest Assured or similar tools, and familiarity with Postman or SOAPUI.
  • Conduct database validation automation with 3+ years of experience.
  • Work within Agile methodologies for over 3 years.
  • Engage in mobile test automation using Appium or SeeTest.
  • Manage onshore-offshore models and delivery from offshore teams.
  • Utilize Jenkins to automate testing processes effectively.
  • Demonstrate experience with Maven and Gradle.
  • Previous experience in a Technology Department for a commercial airline is preferred.
  • Handle testing practices, code repository management, and test management tools, preferably Git.
  • Experience with automation using JavaScript and tools like Protractor or Cypress is a plus.
