Position Overview

Job Title: Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, .NET, and C#.
  • Proficient in automation tools, especially UiPath.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Test and Defect Management Tools like TFS and JIRA.
  • Comprehension of DevOps principles from a testing viewpoint.
  • Capability to analyze requirements and establish test strategies, scenarios, and data.
  • Skilled in crafting and executing automated test scripts.
  • Proficient in defect tracking and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience across all phases of software testing, including automation, web, and database testing with SQL.
  • Demonstrated success in executing test cases and preparing test data.
  • Proven ability to create and execute automated test scripts using UiPath.
  • Experience in regression testing and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in web testing and UI automation from upstream data creation.
  • Good understanding of the Banking and Financial Services sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Flexibility to engage in functional testing.
  • Ability to generate suggestion documents for enhancing application quality.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary Range: The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually. Various factors, including geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate, may influence pay within this range.
