About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Architect to join our team at Synechron. As an Automation Test Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Team and Drive Automation Strategy

Lead the team and drive overall automation strategy, execution strategy, and planning to ensure the successful implementation of automated testing solutions.

Define and Establish Automation Strategy and Processes

Define and establish automation strategy and processes to ensure the efficient and effective use of automation tools and techniques.

Design, Develop, and Maintain Scalable Automation Frameworks

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Collaborate with Development and QA Teams

Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure the smooth execution of automated testing solutions.

Lead the Creation and Execution of Automated Test Scripts

Lead the creation and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Conduct Code Reviews and Provide Technical Guidance

Conduct code reviews to ensure test scripts are robust and maintainable, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members on automation techniques and best practices.

Analyze Test Results and Report to Stakeholders

Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and report them to stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of automated testing solutions.

Maintain Up-to-Date Knowledge of Latest Testing Tools and Strategies

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing tools, strategies, and technologies to ensure the efficient and effective use of automation tools and techniques.

Work Closely with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure that automated tests cover all aspects of application functionality.

Manage and Prioritize Test Automation Backlog

Manage and prioritize test automation backlog to ensure timely delivery of automated test solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Related Field

Experience in QA Automation with a Focus on Web Applications

Experience in QA automation with a focus on web applications.

API Automation, Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD Jenkins, and Excellent Communication Skills

Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a Strong Understanding of Java

Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a strong understanding of Java.

Experience with Test Automation Tools and Frameworks

Demonstrated Experience in Designing and Implementing Test Automation Frameworks

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.

Knowledge of CI/CD Tools

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Proficiency in API Testing and Automation

Proficiency in API testing and automation using REST-assured or similar tools.

Strong Scripting Skills and Experience with Version Control Systems

Strong scripting skills and experience with version control systems like Git.

Excellent Problem-Solving, Communication, and Leadership Skills

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced, Agile Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cloud-Based Testing Solutions

Experience with cloud-based testing solutions like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Familiarity with Containerization Technologies

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools

Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

Certifications in Test Automation Tools and Methodologies

Certifications in test automation tools and methodologies.
