Position Overview

Job Title: Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, .NET, and C#.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, particularly UiPath.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Test and Defect Management Tools like TFS and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles from a testing standpoint.
  • Ability to assess requirements and formulate test strategies, scenarios, and data.
  • Proficient in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Expertise in defect tracking and reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience across all phases of software testing, including automation, web, and database testing with SQL.
  • Proven ability to execute test cases and prepare test data.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing automated test scripts using UiPath.
  • Experience in regression testing and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in web testing and UI automation from upstream data creation.
  • Good understanding of the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Flexibility to engage in functional testing.
  • Ability to generate documentation for application quality enhancement.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary Range: The compensation for this role is between $90,000 – $105,000 annually. Various factors, including geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate, may influence pay within this range.
