Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of our software products through effective testing strategies and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 4+ years of experience in both Testing and Development to implement UI and API Automation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in constructing and managing an automation framework within a large-scale enterprise setting using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Protractor.
  • Exhibit expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly with Cucumber/BDD methodologies.
  • Thrive in an Agile Scrum environment, valuing the contributions of T-shaped team members.
  • Investigate and resolve technical challenges across the technology stack using both automated and manual testing techniques.
  • Apply standard testing practices for Angular/Vue based user interfaces and RESTful web services.
  • Engage in a DevOps culture utilizing CI/CD tools; familiarity with Git/Bitbucket Server, Jenkins, and uDeploy is advantageous.
  • Leverage Code Quality and Coverage Tools (e.g., Sonar) to ensure high standards.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, matrixed environment to meet team objectives.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning and adopting innovative technologies.
  • Utilize business requirements to develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Understand CI/CD principles and provide insights on integrating test automation into deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with a team of SDETs committed to automation and the creation of reusable components.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and master new technologies.
  • Experience in Accessibility testing is preferred.
  • Define and develop a suite of automation tests for digital healthcare solutions.
  • Work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Engage in rapid prototyping to quickly assess ideas.
  • Write and adapt source code, as well as test developed components.
  • Ensure that designs meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability standards.
  • Mentor and support junior technical staff in their development.
