L3Harris Technologies is in search of a seasoned software and hardware Integration & Testing Engineer with a minimum of 6 years' experience in the integration and evaluation of intricate communication systems. The ideal candidate will take charge of the integration of tailored software and hardware within a dynamic, engineering-focused environment. This role involves maintaining configurations, integrating, and assessing our systems through automated testing methodologies and dev-ops principles.

The Engineer will operate autonomously, guiding teams to pinpoint and document defects, troubleshoot and rectify integration challenges while ensuring that products conform to specified standards. This position necessitates exceptional critical thinking abilities to debug, analyze, and validate that products fulfill functional and performance criteria.

Job Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Facilitate the establishment, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under evaluation, including the installation of both custom and commercial software on various devices.
  • Assist in the design, development, automation, and execution of protocols for testing and diagnosing components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems.
  • Construct, configure, troubleshoot, and integrate both new and existing software packages to enhance services, deploy applications, and upgrade infrastructure.
  • Propose software and hardware improvements, diagnose and resolve issues, and define and implement new services aimed at maximizing server uptime and availability for clients.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering or a related technical discipline) along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. A Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience may also be considered. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • 6 years of experience in the following areas:
    • Proven experience in formal system testing is essential.
    • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers) is required.
    • Experience in testing RF communication and cellular technologies is crucial.
  • An active Secret or higher US Government security clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge of Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related add-ons like Xray test management tools.
  • Capability to automate testing procedures and data analysis tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and organized work style.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
