Job Overview:
- L&T Technology Services is in search of a skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Test Equipment Engineer, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. The main focus of this role is to create test hardware and software for aviation testing equipment.
- This position is a full-time, onsite role.
- The successful candidate will possess expertise in design, development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Production Test Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software solutions for product characterization, qualification, and production.
- Collaborate with design engineers to establish and refine testing methodologies, plans, and Design-For-Test principles.
- Generate test schematics and evaluate printed circuit board layouts for testing purposes.
- Debug test programs, analyze data, and enhance test efficiency to facilitate product manufacturing.
- Create ATE testing solutions utilizing LabVIEW or CVI/C/C++ programming languages.
- Assist manufacturing teams in improving yield, transferring products, conducting failure analysis, and reducing test durations.
- Oversee and maintain project milestones that align with product development timelines and release schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering capacity.
- Ability to read and create electronic circuit diagrams.
- Proficient in designing and troubleshooting ATE circuit boards and testing circuits.
- Familiarity with both analog and digital devices.
- Strong programming skills in CVI/C/C++ or LabVIEW with an emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Solid understanding of electrical circuit analysis theory and design.
- Competence in using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Aptitude for data interpretation.
- Experience with database management systems (MS Access or SQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
