Position Overview:
The Avionics Test Engineering division at Raytheon Technologies is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual for the role of Senior Electrical Engineer. This position involves the development and support of intricate engineering solutions tailored for the aerospace and defense sectors. The team is globally recognized for its expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing test solutions that cater to both internal and external clients, including military and commercial aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and facilitate the design, construction, modification, and assessment of electronic devices and components to ensure timely completion while adhering to quality standards and budget constraints.
- Engage in research, development, and testing of electrical systems and components to meet business objectives and technical specifications.
- Create engineering sketches and specifications for the installation and relocation of equipment and systems.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including confidential specifications and performance metrics, to monitor progress and evaluate outcomes.
- Conduct applied research and engineering tasks to innovate and enhance product quality and performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test equipment in production environments.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable regulations.

- Familiarity with avionics products and systems.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing projects with stringent deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
