In today's climate, it is crucial for individuals to express their opinions at the polls and advocate for the changes they wish to see in their neighborhoods. To facilitate increased voter participation in significant elections, we are dedicated to registering voters throughout California. Our initiative involves engaging with potential voters to inform them about the significance of their electoral participation. We will connect with individuals in bustling public venues within their communities to assist them in registering to vote. Our mission is to enroll and mobilize new voters in California, ensuring that every voice is acknowledged.

This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Operations, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Competitive Pay Canvasser roles commence at $24/hour. Leadership roles begin at $26/hour. We provide overtime compensation, shift bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses.

Health and Safety First We adhere to stringent health and safety protocols, including a contactless approach to our campaign efforts. All necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied.

Roles Available:

Canvasser Responsibilities ($24/hr):

  • Engage with the public in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Deliver a persuasive campaign message and gather comprehensive survey responses from voters
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance outreach capabilities
  • Strictly adhere to the campaign's safety guidelines, including PPE usage and daily health protocols

Team Leader Responsibilities ($26/hr):

  • All Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
  • Oversee a small team of canvassers in the field, providing periodic check-ins and end-of-day debriefs
  • Ensure each team member has the necessary materials for safety and success
  • Assist management with canvasser training and administrative tasks

  • Excellent communication skills; enjoys interacting with diverse individuals
  • Motivated and dedicated to engaging a wide audience
  • Open to new experiences and eager to develop campaign-related skills
  • Culturally aware and capable of engaging respectfully with colleagues and the community
  • No prior canvassing experience is necessary.

Compensation: $24/hour for canvassers and $26/hour for Team Leaders. We offer paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses. All full-time employees have the option to enroll in our healthcare plan.
