Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Operations Manager to enhance our team and oversee the Natural Ingredients division. This role involves direct reporting to the Plant Manager and encompasses responsibilities in facility management, preventative maintenance, and capital project oversight. You will lead the maintenance team and manage all departmental functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the maintenance team while managing work schedules and approving time-off requests.
  • Review and maintain maintenance logs to identify needs, improvement areas, and potential capital projects.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing all safety regulations and policies.
  • Oversee the management of facility parts, supply, and repair & maintenance budgets, ensuring accurate invoice coding.
  • Ensure timely progress on maintenance improvements and capital projects, providing updates on any delays as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, fabrication, electrical (low voltage dc, 110v, 230V, and 460v ac), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with familiarity in PLC programming and ladder logic.
  • Understanding of sanitary design standards and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently while being a collaborative team member.
  • 7-10 years of experience in plant/process maintenance management and project management, ideally within the Food industry.
