Position Overview

Salary Range: $121,650 to $152,075 annually.

In this role, you will oversee and manage the mechanical operations and maintenance of various support systems, including refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, and safety management systems. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and mentoring maintenance teams to optimize facility operations.
  • Participating in compliance audits for safety and environmental regulations.
  • Updating and maintaining the Process Safety Management program in accordance with current regulations.
  • Implementing training programs for safety coordinators and technicians.
  • Collaborating with safety personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant safety requirements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining equipment across various facility areas, including production and boiler rooms.
  • Conducting timely repairs and analyses of equipment failures.
  • Assessing equipment needs for upgrades and modifications.
  • Ensuring the availability of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of future equipment needs and external support services.
  • Developing and prioritizing capital plans and project scopes.
Additionally, you will manage production maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency:
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance tasks to meet performance standards.
  • Enhancing preventive maintenance programs using CMMS tools.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with production schedules.
  • Managing budgets effectively to align with operational needs.
  • Establishing maintenance priorities based on budget constraints.
  • Providing procurement requirements for spare parts and materials.
  • Preparing project designs and cost estimates for capital plans.
  • Executing capital projects while minimizing downtime and adhering to budgets.
As a technical resource, you will assist other departments in resolving recurring equipment issues and provide expertise for informed decision-making.

You will also focus on training and developing your team to maintain high performance standards and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Certification as a First Responder and Haz-Mat responder.
  • Training in Confined Space and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
  • Bachelor's degree or extensive management experience in related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, safety management, and production operations.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
