Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Operations Manager to enhance our team and contribute to the Natural Ingredients division.
You will directly report to the Plant Manager and take charge of the facility's initiatives related to maintenance management and capital project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire maintenance team, assigning roles and managing work schedules, including approvals for time off and timekeeping.
- Analyze and maintain maintenance logs to identify needs, improvement areas, and project requirements.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to and enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Manage budgets for facility parts, supplies, and repairs while ensuring proper invoice coding.
- Ensure that maintenance improvements and capital projects are executed on time, communicating any delays or updates as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical (low voltage DC, 110V, 230V, and 460V AC), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Knowledge of sanitary design standards and experience in a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated individual capable of independent thought while also being a collaborative team player.
- 7-10 years of experience in plant/process maintenance management and project management, ideally within the food industry.
