POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Oversee, enhance, and manage the functions associated with the 24/7 Help Desk, user computing environments, remote site IT services, and audio/visual support at Foster Farms. Ensure prompt resolution of IT challenges and deliver outstanding assistance to all clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise user computing assistance, encompassing end-user platforms and software management
  • Lead help desk operations and escalation protocols
  • Coordinate remote IT engineer support for daily tasks and projects
  • Formulate policies, ensure adherence, and elevate service standards
  • Direct human resources activities, including team development and performance assessments
  • Strategically plan and organize IT operations in line with corporate objectives and budgetary limits
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, present findings to management, and facilitate problem resolution
  • Provide guidance, mentor staff, and remain informed on emerging technologies
  • Assist in financial planning, budget oversight, and cost management
  • Implement special initiatives as directed

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in systems support, including hardware, operating systems, and help desk services
  • Strong project management capabilities and a customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Over 10 years of IT experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in Systems Development and SAP/ERP management
  • Proven track record in talent development and team leadership
  • Potential for career growth

Physical Demands:

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel occasionally and maintain consistent attendance
  • Comfortable with prolonged sitting and computer usage
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and personnel matters with composure
