Position Overview

Salary: $20-25 per hour based on experience

The Spa Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of the Spa Front Desk and Attendants. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including scheduling appointments, collaborating with Spa Providers, promoting memberships, refining operational procedures, ensuring the cleanliness of the spa, managing supply orders, and conducting inventory checks for both supplies and retail items.

In this role, you will work closely with members and support the Spa Director in maintaining an effective member program. Additionally, the Spa Operations Supervisor is tasked with creating and sharing engaging content for social media platforms, particularly photos and videos as directed by the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold a professional appearance at all times, including a clean uniform, well-groomed nails, and proper hygiene. Exhibit a positive demeanor, strong communication skills, and appropriate conduct with guests, management, and colleagues. Ensure that the Front Desk team and Attendants meet grooming standards and communicate with the Spa Director for coaching opportunities.
  • Guide, inspire, and train the Front Desk Coordinators to meet operational standards; engage in role-playing exercises and provide constructive feedback. Assign daily tasks and projects to the Front Desk Team while continuously seeking to enhance spa procedures.
  • Assist in implementing new guest service standards and ensure the Front Desk Team is adequately trained and compliant with all protocols.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to guarantee accurate information is shared regarding spa services, menu offerings, and appointment availability.
  • Possess 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a spa or health-related setting, including training and mentoring staff. Experience in social media marketing and engagement is highly valued.
  • Demonstrate experience in supervising a small team, delegating responsibilities, and providing feedback.
  • Exhibit intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, and PowerPoint.
  • Show a genuine passion for guest service and community engagement.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
  • Communicate effectively in English, with correct pronunciation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends.
