Sustainable Engineering Specialist

We are currently looking for a Environmental Engineer to enhance our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of drinking water treatment systems through rigorous inspection and compliance verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct thorough evaluations of water treatment installations, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to address environmental engineering challenges in construction activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, prepare detailed reports, and document any deviations from standards.
- Coordination: Liaise with project managers and contractors to resolve environmental quality issues effectively.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering practices align with applicable codes and safety regulations, while promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in the development of quality control procedures and stay updated on industry advancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or the ability to obtain it shortly.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment systems and construction practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Qualities:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
