We are seeking a Service Engineering Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. While our corporate U.S. headquarters is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, this role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the U.S.. The position involves extensive travel to address mechanical and electrical equipment requirements, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and suggest future maintenance at client sites across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, diagnosing and executing repairs at their locations.
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service, fostering relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments including Technical Support, Installation, Software, Sales, and Training.
  • Deliver on-site and remote customer service as needed.
  • Travel to customer locations, both locally and out-of-state, to provide support.
  • Assist the sales team with pre-sale technical support for customers.
  • Participate in sales, service, company, and customer meetings as required.
  • Commit to continuous professional development to maintain current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Support and/or perform additional duties as necessary based on business needs, taking accountability for assigned projects and initiatives.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • A minimum of a 4-year college degree in engineering or a related discipline is essential.
  • Familiarity with technical environments and knowledge in areas such as electrics, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics is highly advantageous.
  • Experience or interest in sales, purchasing, logistics, and development is necessary.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; a valid U.S. passport is required.
  • Strong understanding of CNC mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical schematics and electrical diagrams.
  • Proven experience in complex machine automation and solutions.
