Role Highlights

The Production Analyst plays a crucial role in the transformation and management of files into various image formats (such as TIF, JPG, or PDF) and is responsible for the extraction of documents and metadata for client evaluation and production. This position guarantees the excellence of the generated data and final outputs, optimizes the use of production resources, and ensures that turnaround requests and deadlines are consistently met or surpassed. This role requires advanced technical skills within the Production team and involves mentoring Production Specialists while contributing to continuous process enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage tasks from a queue and assigned projects to ensure timely job progression in line with company standards and documented service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Engage in production activities by evaluating scope, technical needs, and timelines, while providing recommendations for project platforms and workflows.
  • Generate documents and data in compliance with company standards and client-specific technical requirements, while suggesting potential process enhancements.
  • Prepare load files and deliverables for review using industry-standard review tools, including but not limited to Concordance, Summation, eCapture, and Relativity.
  • Format data for integration into legal review software, utilizing internal tools and SQL for data manipulation and export to meet client specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality checks on client data and deliverables at various stages, following documented procedures to minimize rework and ensure 100% compliance within expedited timelines.
  • Communicate updates, progress, and potential challenges to leadership and team members, serving as the primary liaison for Client Services staff.
  • Provide detailed documentation and summaries of all completed tasks during shift transitions.
  • Support the development of customized solutions and workflows for handling new or unique data types and specialized technical requests.
  • Recommend and lead initiatives for process improvements that may involve multiple teams or locations.
  • Assist in training junior team members on departmental processes and applications, and help troubleshoot requests and issues related to deliverables.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency regarding all production deliverables and internal requests.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Possess knowledge of SQL syntax and the ability to edit basic code or expertise in Relativity.
  • Familiarity with iPro eCapture and other litigation support applications such as Nuix, LAW, ReadySuite, and Relativity.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, or JAVA is advantageous.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to evolving requirements and priorities.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address non-standard requests and resolve issues.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a non-technical audience.
  • Oversee projects that involve multiple teams, offices, or organizations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality control and accuracy in work output.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office/MS365 applications.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent experience is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in eDiscovery or a related technical field is necessary.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a standard office environment, primarily at a desk or computer workstation.
  • Ability to use a computer, communicate via telephone, and read printed materials in a quiet, professional setting is required.
  • Occasional on-call duties and work outside regular hours (evenings and weekends) may be necessary.

The anticipated salary range for this position may vary based on different talent markets.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $61,000 to $74,000 annually. This position is eligible for participation in an annual bonus or incentive program.
