Job Title: EDGAR & Document Processing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EDGAR and document processing specialist to join our team at Kay Search Group. As an EDGAR and document processing specialist, you will be responsible for researching and compiling data needed to prepare electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile data for electronic filing of SEC form types, EDGAR filings, and other financial compliance documents
  • Communicate with lawyers and supervisors regarding jobs, instructions, or deadlines
  • Provide at-desk support to lawyers or off-site client support as requested
  • Assist with documentation and materials utilized in the department training program
  • Produce, edit, and format complex legal documents; format, revise, and blackline documents
  • Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Answer phones and provide technical help when needed
  • Proofread work for accuracy

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as an EDGAR and document processing operator
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of PROFILE EDGAR software, DocX Tools, Workshare Compare, OmniPage, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent work ethic and strong teamwork skills in a high-volume, minimally staffed environment
  • Must be organized, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines with a calm and pleasant demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients
