Job Summary

Avflight is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ticket Counter Agent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide efficient and friendly service to all customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Complete all necessary arrangements for accommodating passengers, including preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and preparing and issuing tickets.
  • Baggage Handling: Check baggage, collect excess baggage charges, and ensure that all baggage is handled in accordance with FAA and airline regulations.
  • Guidance and Support: Guide passengers from the terminal to and from aircraft, ensuring a safe path at all times.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Process customer tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assign seats.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read and write English fluently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time, with sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Availability: Must be available to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent, with authorization to work in the U.S. and a valid Driver's license.

Avflight operates in an airport environment, both indoors and outdoors, with extreme outdoor conditions that may include extreme temperature ranges.
