Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient L3 Microsoft Teams Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative IT department. This position is crucial for the successful implementation, management, and support of Microsoft Teams across our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Microsoft Teams architecture, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a solid history of deploying and enhancing Teams solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Teams, delivering L3 support and direction to resolve advanced issues.

Design, implement, configure, and sustain Microsoft Teams environments, ensuring governance, security, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.

Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical solutions utilizing Microsoft Teams functionalities.

Establish and oversee Teams policies, compliance protocols, and best practices to guarantee secure and effective usage.

Lead and engage in Microsoft Teams migration initiatives from outdated collaboration platforms or on-premises systems.

Create and maintain documentation, including technical manuals, operational guidelines, and user training resources.

Monitor Microsoft Teams performance and usage statistics, proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.

Stay informed about Microsoft Teams updates, features, and industry best practices to suggest and implement improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

10 to 12 years of direct experience managing and supporting Microsoft Teams in a large-scale enterprise setting.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams architecture, including voice and video conferencing, chat, channels, and integration with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating Teams administration tasks.

Strong grasp of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features as they pertain to Teams.

Demonstrated experience in managing intricate Teams deployments, migrations, and upgrades.

Outstanding troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to analyze and resolve L3 support issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications such as MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams and related certifications are highly valued.

Experience with other Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business is advantageous.
