Job Overview:
We are in search of a highly proficient L3 Microsoft Teams Infrastructure Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative IT department. This position is crucial for the successful deployment, management, and support of Microsoft Teams across our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Microsoft Teams architecture, exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, and a solid history of implementing and enhancing Teams solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Teams, delivering L3 support and expertise to resolve complex issues.
Design, implement, configure, and sustain Microsoft Teams environments, focusing on governance, security, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions utilizing Microsoft Teams functionalities.
Establish and manage Teams policies, compliance protocols, and best practices to ensure secure and effective usage.
Lead and engage in Microsoft Teams migration initiatives from legacy collaboration systems or on-premises solutions.
Create and maintain documentation, including technical manuals, operational procedures, and user training resources.
Monitor Microsoft Teams performance and usage metrics, proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.
Stay informed about Microsoft Teams updates, features, and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 to 12 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft Teams in a large enterprise setting.
Expertise in Microsoft Teams architecture, including voice and video conferencing, chat, channels, and integration with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating Teams administration tasks.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features as they pertain to Teams.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex Teams deployments, migrations, and upgrades.
Outstanding troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve L3 support issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams and related certifications are highly desirable.
Experience with other Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business is a plus.
