Job Overview:
Project Summary:
Document Collaboration: Develop a platform for collaborative document management utilizing API technology.
Development Accelerators: Create reusable code templates that enable application teams to construct solutions on Azure in accordance with organizational standards.
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will support the Digital Platform Services team in designing and developing cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Cloud, and other frameworks on Microsoft Azure by performing the following tasks:
- Architecting Solutions and Applications
- Designing solutions leveraging Azure resources
- Engaging in hands-on application development
- Ensuring that delivered applications comply with Enterprise Architecture standards and fulfill non-functional requirements.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Solution Architecture within public cloud environments
- Expertise in architecting and designing cloud-native applications
- Experience with Private Cloud (PCF) or Public Cloud (Azure), preferably Azure
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Background in the Financial Industry
- Prior experience with Northern Trust
Daily Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Infrastructure and Application Delivery teams
- Participate in Agile Scrum activities
- Conduct various DevSecOps tasks
Interview Process:
Technical Screening via phone: Approximately 30 minutes focusing on Java, Spring Boot, and related topics.
In-Person Interview: 2+ hours dedicated to Solution Architecture and Application Design discussions, including whiteboarding exercises.
Panel Interview: Optional with peers.
