Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Clinical Nurse Navigator/Coordinator to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. This role will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to navigate the complex cancer care system.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $43.57-$67.53 per hour, commensurate with experience and equity.

Job Description

This Oncology Clinical Nurse Navigator/Coordinator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team who has clinical nursing expertise in cancer. The individual serves as a clinical resource, advocate, and educator, working with the goal of helping patients overcome health care system barriers and facilitates timely access to treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates patient care across the continuum, from diagnosis through survivorship
  • Serves as a clinical resource with expertise in cancer care management
  • Liaises within the facility and to the community
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Preferred three years direct patient care experience in oncology
  • Licensure: Current District of Columbia licensure or eligibility
  • Education: Minimum nursing baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
  • Certification: Certification from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Program (ONCC) or other cancer specific nursing certification
