Role Summary:

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions to achieve strategic and operational goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with leadership and collaborate across departments will be essential. Utilize your expertise in employee relations and analytical skills to drive HR initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent application of all HR policies across the organization.
  • Provide objective coaching to associates and management on complex issues, guiding disciplinary actions and conducting on-site investigations.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for hourly positions.
  • Coordinate and maintain employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Regularly analyze HR activity reports to monitor trends and outcomes.
  • Support the interpretation and feedback process for internal surveys related to employee engagement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to enhance HR visibility and implement initiatives.
  • Review requests for pay adjustments and status changes to maintain internal equity.
  • Prepare and deliver training on HR-related topics.
  • Champion diversity initiatives, focusing on recruitment, retention, and promotion.
  • Assist in developing Personal Development Plans for associates.
  • Engage in the Annual Performance Appraisal process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a human resources generalist role; management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a large, multi-unit organization is required.
  • Familiarity with centralized HR environments, preferably in corporate settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent presentation skills are essential.
  • Training certifications (e.g., Zenger-Miller, Stephen Covey) are advantageous.
