Position Responsibilities:

The Survey Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing survey programs including Civil 3D, Carlson, and Trimble Business Center.
  • Training and supervising field survey personnel.
  • Managing survey data across multiple projects.
  • Implementing and ensuring adherence to proper survey procedures and quality control.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents for project layout requirements.
  • Utilizing Trimble survey equipment and software for data management.
Safety Compliance:

Actively promote and comply with all safety policies, ensuring all incidents are reported to maintain our core value of safety first.

Collaboration:

Work closely with field supervisors and engineers to coordinate surveying activities and ensure accurate project execution.

Equipment Management:

Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and security of survey equipment, making recommendations for upgrades as necessary.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain accurate records of survey activities, including final project documentation and as-built records.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project layout.
  • 5 years in a survey management role.
  • Preferred licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in relevant states.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of surveying principles, modern equipment, and the ability to analyze complex surveying challenges is essential. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent leadership capabilities and adaptability to various management styles.
