Responsibilities

In your role as an Aerial Foreman, you will oversee all aspects of utility construction for various telecommunications projects. You are committed to excellence and ready to take on challenges.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and/or repairing aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.
  • Placing, relocating, and removing poles and lines to ensure the efficient operation of customer facilities.
  • Establishing a safety perimeter using appropriate signage and barriers.
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with approved designs.
  • Directing activities on the job site.
  • Completing necessary documentation and recording crew time.
  • Communicating effectively with the Area Supervisor or Manager.
  • Leading in-house crews.
  • Managing daily schedules and productivity of the Aerial crew.
Qualifications

  • MUST possess experience in pole setting.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems and prefer a hands-on approach.
  • You seek long-term project opportunities.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment with your team.
  • You embrace the challenge of mentoring and guiding your team.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction.
  • You are knowledgeable about the telecom construction industry.
  • Experience in Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction is essential.
  • You are comfortable operating a bucket truck and climbing poles.
  • You understand OSHA safety requirements to perform tasks safely.
  • You possess strong knowledge of CATV construction practices and CTV/Aerial field equipment.
  • You have completed OSHA 10 training, CPR, and Flagging certification.
  • You can operate a digger Derek truck.
  • You are capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • You can work and climb up to 35 feet.
  • You can read and interpret work orders and CTV cable prints.
  • You are available for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.
  • You are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • You have demonstrated leadership abilities.
