Responsibilities

In the role of Aerial Foreman, you will oversee all aspects of utility construction for diverse telecommunications projects. Your commitment to excellence and quality work will be key to your success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and/or repairing aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.
  • Placing, relocating, and removing poles and lines to ensure the efficient operation of customer facilities.
  • Establishing safety perimeters using appropriate signage and barriers.
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with approved designs.
  • Leading activities on the job site.
  • Completing necessary documentation and tracking crew time.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and management.
  • Acting as the lead for in-house teams.
  • Managing daily schedules and productivity of the aerial crew.
Qualifications

About You:

  • Safety is integral to your daily routine.
  • Required: Experience in pole setting.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • You excel at solving complex problems and enjoy hands-on work.
  • You seek long-term project opportunities.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment with your team.
  • You are eager to mentor and guide your team members.
  • You possess 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction.
  • You are knowledgeable about the telecom construction industry.
  • Experience in Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, and both Aerial and Underground Construction.
  • You are comfortable operating a bucket truck and climbing poles.
  • You understand OSHA safety requirements necessary for job completion.
  • You have a strong grasp of CATV construction practices and aerial field equipment.
  • You have completed OSHA 10 training, CPR, and Flagging certification.
  • You can operate a digger Derek truck.
  • You are capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • You can work and climb up to 35 feet.
  • You can read and interpret work orders and cable prints.
  • You are available for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.
  • You perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • You have demonstrated leadership abilities.
