Company Overview:

Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Accountant to become a vital part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a proficient multitasker and critical thinker, responsible for executing routine accounting tasks and conducting thorough financial analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Provide analytical support to the Financial Controller.
  • Assist in enhancing processes to ensure financial controls, profitability, accountability, and security of company assets, particularly in inventory management.
  • Support the Accounting team with regular Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.
  • Generate, prepare, analyze, and disseminate various management reports; develop new reporting tools to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Manage finance-related reports and processes as assigned.
  • Engage in special projects as directed by senior management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel expertise is essential; Access knowledge is a plus).

Essential Knowledge:
  • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of SOX regulations and internal controls.
  • Comprehension of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with financial systems, preferably Hyperion and Epicor.
